We have been working hard in the garden to get things started for the season. Our Rhubarb and Strawberries poked their first leaves out of the ground in early March. It looks like I will be making a Rhubarb pie for Easter Sunday. We also have planted our peas, spinach, carrots and lettuces. Hoping for good weather over the weekend so we can plant more early spring produce seed.
This blog is a source to share and introduce uses of our healthy garden meals and recipes to others. As the year goes on we will discuss what we plant in our garden, what and when we harvest from our garden, recipes for meals and ways to process foods from or garden. We enjoy our garden foods throughout the year and as we work together we are delighted to share out success with others. Danny and Sheila Beal
